Milan to Tirano by train

The simplest way into the valley.

The train

Trenord runs direct trains between Milano Centrale and Tirano. The ride takes about 2 hours 30 minutes, and departures are normally hourly. Check the timetable for your day.

The fare

The Trenord page does not show a fixed price. The fare appears in the ticket shop when you choose your train, so there is no flat figure to quote here.

The change at Tirano

Trenord and the Rhaetian Railway are separate systems that meet at Tirano. The Perego bus stop is called Tirano FS/RhB Autostazione, in the same interchange area. Plan time for the change, and do not expect one through ticket.
